Create Custom Fields in Salesforce

In Salesforce, create custom fields for Radius scores and grades on the Lead and Account object. We recommend you name them Radius Score and Radius Grade.

  • Radius Score. Make sure the field type you choose can receive numerical values. For example, a number from 1 to 100.
  • Radius Grade. Make sure the field type you choose can receive letter values. For example, A, B, C, and D.

Now it’s time to route scores to the Account object. You can route Radius scores with Process Builder or Apex Trigger.

For example, let’s say your Salesforce updates with a Radius score and Radius on the Contact object every time there is a new contact record or a contact record updates. To route this score to the Account object, you’ll need to do is create a process workflow or trigger that copies the Radius score and grade from the Contact object to the Account object when a Radius Score is not empty and there is an Account associated to the Contact object.
