Set Up Radius Connect in Radius

In Radius, configure the fields and other information users will see on Salesforce records. If you need to, add Connect users.

Who can use this feature?

  • Customers who purchase Radius Connect or Radius Prospector, which includes Radius Connect. Contact your Radius Customer Success Manager or email
  • Customers who integrate Salesforce. Radius Connect requires Salesforce Enterprise Edition or higher.
  • Salesforce administrators can install Radius Connect and configure and assign Salesforce page layouts.
  • Radius Connect users require appropriate Salesforce permissions and field access.

Configure Radius Connect

Configure and preview the Radius Connect cards that appear on Salesforce object pages. 

  1. From the main menu, click Integrations.

  2. Under Integrations, select Salesforce.

  3. From the Radius Connect tab, select the Radius contact and business signals that will appear in Radius Connect. You can rename the contact and nearby businesses cards if you want to. Next, select your Radius goal and select the type of businesses you want to see: New records from Radius or records that are Open, Won, or Lost in your CRM for the selected goal. Want to specify a search radius based on how far your field reps typically travel? Go for it.


  4. Click Preview Connect Setup to see how the Connect cards will appear in Salesforce. 

  5. When you're happy with how things look, save your settings.

Map Contact Fields to Append and Refresh

Radius Connect can refresh and append four field values for contacts: Email, Phone, Job Title, and LinkedIn Profile URL. To update the values of Job Title and LinkedIn Profile URL, you need to map Salesforce contact fields to those two Radius fields. Here's how.

  1. From the main menu, select Integrations.

  2. For Salesforce, click View Details.

  3. Under Data Append, click Reconfigure.

  4. Click through the flow, accepting defaults, until you get to Additional Field Mappings.

  5. Click the Contacts tab and map the Radius Contact Title field to the Salesforce Title field. Map the Radius LinkedIn Profile URL field to the Salesforce LinkedIn field. Click Next to finish the flow, then save your selections.


Add Connect Users if You Need To

If you have unlimited Radius Connect users, you're good to go. If not, you'll need to add users. The Connect Users list tells you how many Connect licenses you have and how many of those have been assigned. If you need to do a bulk add, please contact Radius Support ( and we can help.

  1. On the Radius Connect tab, under User Setup in the Radius Users list, select those who will use Radius Connect. They'll show up in the Connect Users list.

  2. Save your settings.
